The Miranda Parties

Girls definitely score in the series of parties that come along with the wedding deal, whereas the guys only get the bachelor party. My really good friends, Miranda and Marshall are getting married. I am in their wedding party, as is Justin. So my world has had a focus on outfits, planning and parties recently... with some birthdays mixed in Let me give you a list of Justin’s and my social agenda for the months of August and September.

Marshall’s birthday (we ate at Chez Zee with Marshall, Miranda, Lauren and T.J. and played wiffle ball and kick ball in the parking lot.)

Lingerie shopping (with Lauren…. She’s in the wedding party as well and she planned an awesome party which we went and bought supplies for.)

Yvonne’s birthday (the party was next to our house, with lots of other neighbors milling about)

Arts and Crafts party (we made decorations for Miranda and Marshall’s wedding.)

Lingerie party (this was on the same day as the arts and crafts party)




There are bags flying through the air in our variation of hot potatoes. If you get the bag you have to wear what is inside. That's why by the end of the night many girls have underwear on the outside of their clothes.

We made our own lingerie out of toilet paper and pads. Isn't she sexy.













Marshall was neglected in the lingerie party, so Lauren and I corrected that by buying him a tuxedo thong. He looks soo happy.

Justin did a guys night with Marshall the night of the lingerie party.

There is the wedding shower.

Justin’s Dad’s b-day is coming up (the 26^th of August…. He is turning the big 5…0)

Next we have a Frio river trip ( this is our third trip this year and is with the wedding party and includes the bachelor and bachelorette parties which Justin and I are planning)

Then comes the setting up for the wedding, the rehearsal of it and then the dinner.

Next is the wedding itself (plus all the primping for it)

The good news with all of this- I love Miranda and Marshall and hanging out with them all the time is a really good thing. In fact, Justin and I have been hanging with them in between these events as well. It has been awesome soaking these two up.
