I’ve got a lot to offer the world
In so many ways
Waiting, Watching, Wanting
Them to swing their nets my way
Call me, Catch me, Keep me,
I am here swinging on a string
Taught, Tense, Trying
To make them
See me, Truly see me
To have worked so hard, come so far, reached so high
To Sit, To Stay, To Wait, To Pray
I am meant to make a difference
I am not afraid to try
Feeling greatness
Screaming for, Reaching out, Breaching in
My feet were meant for movement
My heart for purpose
My mind for trying
I won’t wait forever
I don’t stay put
Someone will grab me
Even if I have to place myself in their hands
And they will be lucky
